My first pageant took place in Ft. Lauderdale on April of 1996. I was Ms. Petite Orlando. One of the judges from the Petite Pageant suggested me to send an application for the Mrs. Florida International Pageant. A few months later I was selected the new Mrs. Orlando International 1997. This was on November of 1996. In May of 1997 in the beautiful city of Orlando I competed in the Mrs. Florida International Pageant. In this pageant I was among the top 15 finalist and I received the most prestigious award in the pageant, the Director’s Award. This award is given by the directors of the pageants to one of the contestants, that has gone above and beyond the call of duty, promoting the pageant and community service. I had the honor of receiving that award.

On May of 1997, after the Mrs Florida International pageant, I participated in the Ms. Florida United Stated of America. In this pageant I placed among the top five finalists, becoming the 4th runner up. On November of 1997 I became Mrs. Orange County 1998. I am a professional model and a fashion consultant. I work for Walt Disney World as a Jewelry Field Specialist. I have been working with Disney for seven years. I love volunteering my time for a good cause, and that is the reason that I do most of my volunteer work through the Disney Volunteer Program.

I have been doing volunteer work for more than seven years. I love giving my time to a good cause, and my best reward is a hug and a smile. Two years ago I joined the volunteer staff of The Make-A-Wish Foundation, and I am very proud to work with this wonderful organization, because I know how much difference I can make in the life of a child. I started participating in pageants three years ago, after I lost 45 pounds with Jenny Craig. In 1996 I became Ms. Petite Orlando. In 1997 I became Mrs. Orlando International. In 1998 I became Mrs. Orange County, and in July of this year I participated in the Mrs. Florida International Pageant 1998.

I was among the top five finalist, becoming the first runner-up. And for the second year on the road a received The Director's Award for community service. I also participated in the Ms. Florida United State of America 1998. And I was among the top five finalist, becoming the first runner up. And now I am the new Mrs. Orlando International 1999. Next year I will be competing for the title of Mrs. Florida International 1999.
